What will you do?
As a forwarding agent, you will work in the office, taking away all logistical concerns from our customer(s). You focus on the agreements that have been made about shipping to and from various countries. As an organisation, we consider customer relations very important. You will therefore focus on this. Taking care of transports via different modalities is also part of the job. For this, you use other service providers with whom you also build up and maintain a long-term relationship. Your activities will include:

  • Booking and following up transports.
  • Processing orders from A/Z in the system.
  • Monitoring your booked transports; all transports are on time.
  • Purchasing transports and other logistic services.
  • Invoicing in accordance with offers.
  • Maintaining contacts with transporters, (inter)national customers, partners and agents.

What do we expect from you?

To be considered for the position of Freight Forwarder, we require the following job requirements:

  • Ambition and energy.
  • Experience as a freight forwarder or similar position.
  • Knowledge of transport, customs and incoterms.
  • Experience with a WMS system and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Customer-friendly in combination with a commercial attitude.
  • Flexible, accurate, stress-resistant and a hands-on mentality.
  • Fluent in Dutch and good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing. Do you also speak German? Then you will score points!
  • Fulltime available.
  • Living in the area of Breda.
  • In possession of own transport.
